Hake

A deep-water member of the Cod species that thrives in the Atlantic and Mediterranean Oceans, hake is in high demand in many European countries, particularly Spain, Portugal, Italy and France. With its firm, sweet, white meat, hake is considered to be one of the best-tasting fish in the whiting family.
