Codfish Cakes

Bolinhos de bacalhau, also known as pasteis de bacalhau, will be made in most homes and are sold in cafes and restaurants in Portugal. They are usually served at room temperature. We love them as they come out of the fryer when the outside is still crispy and they make perfect snack/picnic food!

Ingredients: 40% salted codfish (Gadus morhua (A) e/ou Gadus macrocephalus (B), salt), water, pasteurized EGG, potato flakes (potatoes, emulsifier: mono-and diglycerides of fatty acids, spices), onion, pea fiber, parsley (0,12%), garlic, spices. May contain fish-bones. May contain traces of gluten, crustaceans (Shrimp and lobster), milk, celery, mustard, soy and mollusks.
